Personator
Personator is a data management tool that performs three main functions.
Splits Names: Personator will parse name and city fields into their components and place the components into specific fields as in splitting city, state, and ZIP into three separate fields or prefix, first name, last name, and suffix into separate fields.
Genderizes Name: Personator will analyze the first name and add a gender prefix to it. It does this by checking the first name against a large database of first names that have been sex designated.
Makes Salutations: This capability is more powerful than a standard mail merge because of the logic controls behind it. This allows you to correctly create informal or formal salutations for a mail piece.
Right Fielder
Right Fielder as its name implies puts data into the right field. Lists come in several different formats and often are not consistent with the data, especially in the area of two-line addresses, suites, and mail stops. Right Fielder analyzes the data and places the information into the correct field to give you a clean database.
MergeMagic
MergeMagic is a powerful utility for merging multiple databases including TeleMagic, dBase, and ASCII (SDF or comma delimited). MergeMagic permits the user to rearrange fields from the source database to conform with TeleMagic format. It permits the creation of Primary and Secondary ID fields where none exist. MergeMagic is an excellent tool for periodic merging of TeleMagic databases. This allows a corporation to easily maintain a combined database with information from all sales offices included for easy reporting of sales information.
Further, MergeMagic allows the user to set up rules for case correction by field, to allow for source data in upper case to be added to TeleMagic records in mixed case. And finally, MergeMagic merges the content of notepads in chronological order. MergeMagic can be used to massage data being moved between the AS/400 and PC environment and back again, greatly simplifying the task.
